IpSensorMan 2.1.1-minApi14

IpSensorMan manages communication with various sport sensors through ANT+, Bluetooth, or Bluetooth Low Energy interfaces. By using a separate app, it allows multiple client apps simultaneous access to the sensors. The application simplifies the process of interacting with standard sensors, transmitting simplified information to any registered application requiring sensor data.

This product is certified by ANT+ and complies with the specified ANT+ device profiles:

• Bicycle speed data
• Bicycle cadence data
• Bicycle combined speed and cadence data
• Bicycle power data
• Heart rate data

Polar Wearlink®+ transmitter with Bluetooth® and Zephyr HxM Bluetooth Heart rate monitor support were added in version 1.2.6.

Bluetooth Low Energy / Bluetooth Smart support includes:

• Bike speed and cadence</Aelli> <il>Bike power (Only a single sensor, not dual pedals transmitting independently)</il> <il>Running speed and cadence (footpod)</il> <il>Stryd running power</il>

  IpSensorMan should recognize other ANT+ sensor types, although full decoding support is not currently implemented.

  • <l1>Network Communications: Full Internet access is needed for the crash reporting system and usage statistics collection via flurry.com. The option to disable this is available in the settings.</l1>
    
    <l2>Hardware Controls: ANT radio access is essential for proper functionality.</l2>
    
    <l3>System Tools: Modify global system settings and prevent the phone from sleeping may be required. An option keeps ANT active during airplane mode to save power, needing system setting modifications. This feature demands at least version 2.6 of ANT Radio Services. When actively monitoring the ANT radio, the phone will not sleep but the screen may turn off.<l3>
